    MINDSET

One video is worth a thousand pictures

Instructional video has been the most impactful digital content associated with training programs for more than a decade. When done well, it builds rapport and facilitates the emotional dynamics needed to retain information.

  • understanding the psychology and challenges of digital learning for both learners and us as trainers
  • audio-visual psychology: what is the proper mindset for approaching instructional videos?
  • understanding the emotional dimension in developing video learning content
  • assessing personal relationship with technology

    KNOWLEDGE

An essential set of skills and techniques

This program gives you the advantage of browsing key knowledge in one place without wasting time searching. We have carefully selected for you the essential expertise in developing instructional videos by using A.I. technologies.

  • types of instructional videos and scenarios to use within the organization - contextual advantages and disadvantages
  • criteria for assessing the quality of an instructional video
  • familiarization with the Instructional Video Design process
  • script and storyboard development using AI
  • familiarization with different production scenarios using A.I. technologies or classic audio/video applications and equipment

    PRACTICE

Getting used to working practices

Collaborative practice on generic projects, with feedback from the trainer and group mates. You will learn the prerequisites for skills that you can then practise on your own.

  • collaborative reflection exercises - analysing instructional videos through the lens of the discussed success criteria
  • working on a generic project - scripting and storyboarding a given topic, producing video content using A.I. applications

    TECHNOLOGY

A selection of IT applications to use

In this program, you will become familiar with a carefully chosen set of IT apps useful for designing impactful instructional videos. Of course, they're not the only ones possible, but it's a good start.

  • For creating the script: ChatGPT + applications that use it
  • For designing the storyboard: Midjourney, Krock
  • Video production: Synthesia, Camtasia, Canva
